5 Places to Celebrate the Holidays in DFW

chistmasThe holiday season is finally here, and with that in mind, we at Professional Garage Concepts have put together a list of the top 5 places to enjoy Christmas in the DFW area.

12 Days of Christmas

This fun event that’s on right through until January 3rd is held at the Dallas Arboretum. This consists of 25-foot Victorian gazebos full of costumed characters and whimsical animals. Each gazebo is encased in glass and lavishly decorated to provide a dramatic and theatrical experience. It doesn’t stop there – the event will also feature mechanical structures and festive music to add to the atmosphere. Head there at night time to enjoy the engaging light shows.

Panther Island Ice

North Texas’s only outdoor ice skating rink is open until January 18th.  This is a great day activity for all the family as there will also be surprise visits from Santa, and will feature seasonal music and delicacies.

The Trains at NorthPark

For over 27 years, children (and adults) of all ages have been delighted to see the amazing holiday train display at the NorthPark Center.  Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House, there are over 1,600 feet of track that cross the USA, including downtown Dallas! This holiday season there are a number of events held here, so head down to find out what’s happening.

Fort Worth Parade of Lights

This year, we welcome the 32nd Annual Nighttime parade along the streets of downtown Fort Worth. This features over 100 lighted entries that are all unique! It’s a glowing event that’s not to be missed!

A Christmas Carol

If you fancy enjoying an old classic this holiday season, then A Christmas Carol is not to be missed. Ensure you get your tickets as early as possible as this is a very popular sell-out event.
