CONCRETE
Importance
Why is Concrete Preparation Important?
Concrete preparation is crucial for garage floor coating because it ensures proper adhesion, durability, and longevity of the coating. This process removes contaminants like oil, grease, and dirt that can prevent the coating from bonding effectively to the concrete.
Additionally, addressing any structural issues and creating a uniform surface helps the coating to adhere more consistently, preventing peeling, chipping, and bubbling. Ultimately, thorough preparation results in a more attractive, functional, and long-lasting garage floor.
Etching or grinding the concrete creates a rough surface that allows the coating to penetrate and anchor itself more securely. Neglecting proper preparation can lead to peeling, bubbling, and premature wear, reducing the lifespan and performance of the garage floor coating.

How?
Our Process
All our coatings begin with profiling the concrete to a minimum CSP (concrete surface profile) level of 3. We achieve this by only diamond grinding the surface with industrial quality grinders. This insures the concretes pores have been opened and ready to receive the product being applied. This also give the material a way to bond with the concrete and become one solid piece.
Next, all the imperfections such as divots, cracks, spalling, chipped edges, etc. are repaired and grinned smooth for a seamless finish. Once the preparation is complete the crew will then thoroughly vacuum with HEPA vacuums to make sure the surface is free of any debris.
At this point the surface, is now ready to receive whatever coating the customer has opted for.
